Humanities Teacher

Spark Learning Center, a hybrid (virtual/in person) middle school program,  is seeking an innovative Humanities Teacher for the 2026–27 school year. This role integrates English Language Arts and Social Studies through an interdisciplinary approach that emphasizes critical thinking, communication, and real-world connections. The position includes both synchronous and asynchronous instruction in a flexible, hybrid learning environment.

Spark is a new program, established by the veteran team at ArtSpace Charter School. We are looking for a certified teacher who brings strong instructional practice and a vision for engaging, student-centered learning. As part of a growing program, this educator will contribute to shaping curriculum and learning experiences within a collaborative, mission-driven team. Strong candidates will build meaningful relationships with students, design engaging learning experiences across modalities, and demonstrate comfort with virtual instruction and innovation.

This is a 10-month position with a start date in August 2026 and an opportunity for additional summer professional planning. Interested, qualified candidates should send a resume and cover letter to: [email protected] with “Humanities Teacher” in the subject line.

Math Teacher

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and NC teaching license (or eligibility), or any equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities.
